seems tat i've been updating my blog like monthly?
LOL!. hmm perhaps coz army life has been kinda of mundane.
anyway, short sumary of the happenings in e past one month!
1. prince of persia with yu rong, rong jie and shaam
nice movie, of course not forgetting the them. ha. it was a pretty nice catch up session.
2. airborne course.
LOL!. re-coursed airborne coz i smashed my fibula e other time round. ha boring course. but then, my stick (group) was kinda of interesting. coz i attended e course with the juniors, although all of them were older than me coz they were e poly batch. haha! saw new perspectives from their angle, and also realised that some were really indeed very mature in their thinking. haha. and i successfully completed 2 jumps on last fri. phew.
3. odac bbq at rooftop
gd turnout! haha! 17 ppl eh, and i took like 200+ photos! =)
the usual talk cock session, catching up with one another! and of course, keet's back from australia.! haha.! ok i'll organise something after i ORD k?
4. catchup session with minshan and naz
We spent close to 3 hours up queueing up for everything! ha queued up to enter suki sushi buffet, to get cheap tickets ($2) to enter universal studio singapore and then subquently, queued up to enter universal studio. queued up again to enter Songs of the Sea at siloso beach.
it poured, and i was like totally drenched. haha!

hmmm guess tat summed up the major happenings over the past month.
well, im leaving for brunei tml nite! LOL!. really pray hard tat it'll be e last overseas trip.
i did some thinking, and realised that all those overseas trips made me immuned.
immuned to leaving.
haha! i dun really feel anything now la. zzz! will i really miss singapore? i doubt so bah.
perhaps except for WORLD CUP! HAHAHAHAHA.
and i realised it has been a super long journey.
supposed to pass out last oct, but i took a super long detour due to injury.
hah.
-fought atec.
-completed unarmed combat
-completed airborne course.
now wat im left with brunei trip and 72km.
and once tat's completed, i'll end off my NS term with an operation to remove e implant. HA!
hope it still can last till mid july.

ha just realised i din update my blog for like a mth plus?
LOL!!
well, e past 1 mth was eventful! several outings and etc...
and im rather lazy to summarise. just refer to my fb photos.
tat'll do e job i guess? hhaha!!!
and i love nike shoes, esp SB series. real cool.!
oh ya! i find them better than adidas shoes, coz the soles are thicker.
therefore, tat'll make me taller by abit.
WAHAHAHAHAHA!!..
anyway, it'll be busy june ahead.
airborne course (which means parachuting) AGAIN, and i do really pray hard tat it'll be 3 safe jumps for me!. and the regimental course will ends on 18th june.
after which, i'll be visiting brunei for some training. hha!
and gunung biang will be e 10th mountain which i'll conquer (hopefully)?
hmm a busy june = lesser time for world cup.
but who cares.
since alot of names din make it to their respective national squads..
esp alot of names from real madrid and inter-milan squads.

well, less than 6 more months to ORD.
and i'll start clearing my leave and off-in-lieu after mid july..
i'll just need to keep my engine going for another 2 more months!
on a side note, sundown marathon is 2 weeks later.
and i guess it'll be another long run for me. hha!
shall just attempt to win my elder bro.

ha! 50mm lens is really super cool la! it was indeed worth spending $157 on the lens. HAHA!!!
=))
well, too bad the lens doesnt have in-built stabiliser. sian. but the photos still turned out to be quite ok, except for a few due to the dim lighting which resulted in slow shutter speed...
anyway, class gathering was quite fun! hha! having it at settlers' cafe is indeed a gd idea. and having cindy on the same table was crazy. she keep demanding for LOUD games, which in turn means VIOLENT games. -_____-""
but it was fun! hhaha.
walked around town, and couldnt find anywhere to settle down. dine at NYNY which was average. then went off to bp mac to chill. haha! but i went off earlier, due to the fact tat i've to wake up at 4plus am to go mandai columbarium for qing ming.
woke up at 4.30am. boarded the chartered bus which went around woodlands, marsiling, jurong west and jurong east to pick up all my relatives before heading to mandai. well, we all reached there at around 6.30am, and it was already quite packed! ZZzz.
oh ya. it was raining too. so we burnt offerings under e rain. HHAHAHAHA.
back to military life. haha! 2 weeks seems so short! =<

hah! my 2 weeks break is coming to an end! =((
went to smu last nite for an interview. coz they told me tat i need to get accepted into their course first before they will call me for the scholarship interview.
and guess what? e interview was at 7pm la. zzzz.
well, e interview was erm... boring? haha!!!
quite sian and unfair to some. coz it's a grp discussion on an article, and e article is talking about meritocracy; quite gp-ish.
it's seriously unfair for those in poly.
coz the topic on meritocracy is too chim. hah! there's no right or wrong ans.
only can take a general stand.
anyway, bought 50mm canon lens today.
and realised e pictures are taken using tat lens are more interesting. HAHA!!
shall try it tml. =)

ha back from thailand, after 4 and a half weeks of training and evaluation. =)
well, the weather there was simply unbearable! it's like way way worse than singapore! haha! but just like wat my friends said, the weather there is gd for laundry! zzZz.
like seriously lame can...
alot of misfortunate incidents took place, but it all ended well.
and i'm so glad tat i made it back in one piece! HAHA
my momento for thailand? well, i dropped my specs there during outfield. HAHAH!!!

Happy CNY and Val Day to all in advance!~ =))
hmm this year will be a quiet cny for my family again. coz according to tradition, we cant celebrate cny for 3years after the demise of grandma. and this year will be the 3rd yr.
yup.
well, this will be also my last long break before heading off to thailand on 19th feb. will be there till the 22nd march.
such an inapporpriate time to go off. haiz.
oh well, never mind. life still goes on! HAHA! and of course, i'll be praying for a better year ahead!
hope this yr will favour the "snakes"! =DD

phew!!~~
finally done with all the photo shoots! =D
it's time to give my camera a well deserved break!
ha e past few weekends were seriously crazy!
keep gg out to take photos. LOL!. but it was a gd experience.
learnt alot of techniques and of course, made alot of new friends!

zoo run later on with zhiyan. and i'm lugging my dslr along!
coz most likely it'll end up into a tour of zoo! HAHAHA!!!
